At fault means who is responsible for causing the accident. More than one party can be partially responsible for the accident. Another word you may hear used to describe this concept is "liability."
You can either work directly with your Claim professional, or you can hire an attorney. Only you can decide what is best for you.
Your Claim professional will answer any questions you have and work directly with you throughout the claim process.
If you hire an attorney, your Claim professional will work directly with the attorney, rather than working directly with you. Your Claim professional is not allowed to speak with you about your claim, without your attorney’s permission.
The value of your claim will not change whether you have an attorney or not. Your Claim professional will not consider any attorney’s fees or expenses you may owe your attorney as part of the value of your claim.
Every claim is different, from the details of the accident to the severity of the injury.
While there are many factors that can contribute to the length of the claim process, some of the main factors include: the duration of medical treatment, response time from medical providers, other responsible parties, and attorney involvement.
