36,750 people died on U.S. roads in 2018*. And in 2017, more than 2.7 million people were injured*. Policymakers, law enforcement and victims' families point to distracted driving as an important contributing factor. This program explored research into why we drive distracted, and taught attendees how new technology and insights from psychology can help combat distraction and save lives.
Presented by the Travelers Institute, the G. Brint Ryan College of Business at the University of North Texas, the Insurance Council of Texas, and the Beta Zeta Chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma.
