Disrupting Distraction
February 13, 2020 | University of Tennessee (Knoxville, TN)
36,560 people died on U.S. roads in 2018, including 1,024 in Tennessee. And in 2017, more than 2.7 million people were injured. Policymakers, law enforcement and victims' families point to distracted driving as an important contributing factor. This program explored research into why we drive distracted, and how new technology and insights from psychology can help combat distraction and save lives.
Presented by the Travelers Institute, the Haslam College of Business and the American Property Casualty Insurance Association.
