Disrupting Distraction
February 19, 2020 | Athens, Georgia
36,560 people died on U.S. roads in 2018. And in 2017, more than 2.7 million people were injured. Policymakers, law enforcement and victims' families point to distracted driving as an important contributing factor. Attendees joined us for dinner as we explored research into why we drive distracted, and learned how new technology can help combat distraction and save lives.
Presented by the Travelers Institute, the University of Georgia's Gamma Iota Sigma Chapter and the Multicultural Business Student Association.
