Kicking Off Hurricane Preparedness Season Symposium 2013

In order to mark the beginning of the 2013 hurricane season, the Travelers Institute hosted the third annual "Kicking Off Hurricane Preparedness Season" symposium in partnership with NYSE Euronext, the Partnership for New York City, and the Wharton School. The symposium focused on key lessons learned from Superstorm Sandy and highlighted how the City of New York and the NYSE successfully prepared for and resumed operation after the storm. Experts from the Wharton Risk Management and Decision Processes Center, a leader in the disaster preparedness field, and the Travelers Institute highlighted the importance of preparedness and insurance education.
