Economic and Cybersecurity Symposium
Tuesday, February 27, 2024
Salt Lake City, UT
In-Person Event
This cybersecurity education program was proudly presented as part of the Travelers Institute’s Small Business – Big Opportunity® initiative, helping business owners become better equipped to manage risk.
At this free special event in Salt Lake City, we brought together two of our signature programs, Woodward on Washington and Cyber: Prepare, Prevent, Mitigate, Restore.
Economic and Public Policy Keynote
Joan Woodward, Executive Vice President of Public Policy at Travelers, shared her economic, public policy and political outlook in a data-driven analytical presentation. She also discussed the most pressing challenges facing Congress and the Biden Administration in 2024. What do higher interest rates, coupled with elevated inflation, mean for your business, and can the U.S. avoid a recession? Joan explored these issues, as well as what the upcoming election could mean for the economy and insurance.
Cybersecurity Symposium
Government and industry leaders joined us for a discussion covering one of the biggest issues facing business today: threats to cybersecurity. Attendees got an in-depth look at the current threat landscape and strategies to help prepare for and respond to a cyber incident. This exclusive event was part of the Travelers Institute's Cyber: Prepare, Prevent, Mitigate, Restore initiative, a national series of educational symposia helping businesses and organizations tackle evolving cyber threats.
