"Overdraft" University Symposia Series
University of California Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy
Berkeley, California
September 25, 2013
On September 25, 2013, the Travelers Institute partnered with The Can Kicks Back, a millennial-led organization working to defeat the national debt, for the launch of its cross-country Generational Equity Tour at the University of California, Berkeley. The Can Kicks Back team, who traveled by van across the country visiting a new university each day, kicked off the five-week tour on Berkeley’s campus, collecting student messages about the debt on tin cans to be delivered to policymakers in Washington at the end of the tour. The Travelers Institute was proud to join the initiative with The Can Kicks Back to feature the nonpartisan debt documentary “Overdraft.”
