Military – Imagine A DIFFERENT CALL OF DUTY
A DIFFERENT CALL OF DUTY
A DIFFERENT CALL OF DUTY
When you joined the military, you made the ultimate commitment. You answered the call of duty and dedicated yourself to serving and protecting. Now, we ask you to consider your next mission within an organization that understands the value that your skills bring to the equation. A mission that could take you further than you imagined.
We have a rich history dating back over 170 years. Today, over 1,000 current and former military professionals call Travelers home. Whether you’re among the first to the scene as part of our Catastrophe Response Team or tasked with evaluating risk, we know that your experience has prepared you to get the job done.
We also understand that the transition into a civilian career is not always easy. That’s where our Military and Veterans Diversity Network comes in. Here, you’ll find the camaraderie and resources you need to ensure your success as you rise through the ranks.
When you joined the military, you invested in our future, now, we’d like the opportunity to invest in yours.

“The military teaches you to think on the fly and work with every level of people, which is the same for my role here at Travelers. The collaborative and inclusive environment at Travelers is very similar to that of the military; it makes for a smoother transition for those moving from their military role to a corporate environment."

Account Manager
“With the ability to work remotely and the availability of online training, Travelers offers plenty of opportunities for military spouses to focus on their career development.”

This Women’s History Month, we honored the legacy of military women at Travelers with an inspiring Art Speaks event featuring Phyllis Wilson, President of the Military Women’s Memorial. The event highlighted how the memorial preserves the history and impact of America’s servicewomen. It also coincided with “The Color of Freedom” traveling exhibit, which was on display for three weeks in Hartford.
Hosted by our Military/Veterans & Allies, Women & Allies, Black and African American & Allies and Indigenous & Allies Diversity Networks – in partnership with Enterprise #DiversityandInclusion and Community Relations – the event celebrated the strength and contributions of all military women. Watch the video to hear from a Travelers veteran and our Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer as they reflect on the significance of this event.
